Opened this with some skepticism given the price, but the way it balances that classic Rutherford power with a surprisingly elegant finish won me over completely. It’s silky and layered, exactly what I’d hope for from a Napa Cabernet. Already planning to grab another bottle for a special dinner.

The nose alone tells you this is something special—deep dark fruit with a hint of cedar. It’s remarkably smooth for such a powerful wine, with a finish that lingers beautifully. Definitely worth the splurge for a special occasion.

Opened this for a special dinner and the Rutherford dustiness really came through on the finish—it's got that classic structure without being overly tannic. Drank beautifully after about an hour in the decanter.
