This bottle didn't last the whole dinner, and honestly, that's the best compliment I can give it. The dark fruit is smooth upfront, but that coffee and vanilla finish on the back end is what kept me refilling my glass.

Perfect for a lazy Sunday afternoon—the coffee and vanilla undertones really round out the smooth dark fruit without being too heavy. Pairs beautifully with a simple mushroom risotto.

Opened this on a weeknight with pasta and it was exactly the smooth, dark-fruit pour I wanted. The coffee and vanilla notes are there but never overpower the wine, and the 750 ml bottle made for an easy two-night stretch.
