Burlotto Barolo 2022

The full-bodied structure is incredible for a hot vintage—definitely feels more like a classic Barolo. I was surprised how balanced it stayed despite the heat, with tannins that are muscular but not harsh. A real treat for those who like powerful Nebbiolo.

Felt like a furnace outside all summer, but somehow this Barolo stayed cool and composed—full-bodied and muscular, yet with a balance that makes it dangerously easy to finish a bottle. The 2022 heat clearly didn't hurt the fruit; it's intense, dark, and structured without being harsh.

Popped this with a long decant and it held up beautifully—full-bodied but surprisingly balanced for such a hot year. The tannins are muscular yet polished, and the finish keeps pulling you back in.
