Clos De Luz Massal 1945 Carmenere

The bitter chocolate and pink peppercorn finish is so unique and lingers beautifully, making this feel much more complex than its price point. I opened a bottle with a simple pasta dinner and it was an unexpectedly perfect pairing.

The ripe plum and baking spice notes hit right away, but the pink peppercorn finish is what keeps me coming back for another glass. It's smooth and layered without being heavy, perfect for a cozy dinner.
