Dartigalongue Bas Armagnac 750ml

The nose on this is incredible—those prune and dark chocolate notes really come through, and the alcohol warmth is surprisingly smooth for 40% ABV. It’s dry, not syrupy, which I appreciate with a good cigar.

I love how the espresso and baking spices mingle on the finish, and the alcohol is surprisingly smooth for its strength. The soft mouthfeel makes it dangerously easy to sip neat on a quiet evening.

The dark chocolate and prune notes come through beautifully, especially after it opens up for about 10 minutes. The dry finish with that brisk alcohol makes it perfect for sipping slowly after dinner, rather than a sweet nightcap.
