That mint and eucalyptus note up front is unexpected but really smooths out into a warm caramel and oak finish. It’s dangerously drinkable for 101 proof, and the high-corn mashbill gives it a nice sweetness without being syrupy. Perfect for a chilly evening neat.

The 101-proof kick is there, but the high-corn mashbill really lets that nutmeg and caramel come through after the initial eucalyptus bite fades. Smoothest leather-and-oak finish I’ve had in a while, and the bottle didn’t last the weekend.

That minty note on the nose is so unique, and the caramel and oak on the finish make it incredibly sippable for such a high proof.
