Sassicaia 2023

That 87/13 Cabernet Sauvignon and Franc split is pure Bolgheri magic—the nose alone unfolded for hours. I've got two more bottles tucked away because this one clearly has decades of life ahead.

Opened a bottle last night and it's still a baby, but the 87% Cab Sauv backbone already shows that dense, layered structure the 100-point score hints at. The 2023 will clearly age for years, so I'm cellaring most of the case.

Just received my case of the 2023 vintage, and even at this early stage, the dense structure from that 87% Cab Sauv is already incredible. The depth and complexity make it clear why it scored 100 points — this will age beautifully for years.
