The rye spice hits right up front with a nice peppery finish, and it's smooth enough to sip neat without any burn. Mixed it into a Manhattan and it held its own against the vermouth instead of getting lost.

Bought this for an Old Fashioned and the honeyed mid-palate really holds up against the bitters instead of getting buried. At 100 proof it's got enough backbone to sip neat too, which surprised me for the price. Already eyeing a second bottle.
