Xicaru REPOSADO Mezcal 750ml

Took a chance on this reposado for a dinner party and pour after pour, nobody wanted to switch back to their usual tequila. The rested, smooth character makes it dangerously easy to sip neat, and the 750ml bottle felt like it lasted longer than expected. Already eyeing my next bottle.

The agave flavor comes through beautifully without being overpowering, and the rested character makes it perfect for sipping neat. I’ve been enjoying a glass most evenings since it arrived.

I was a little worried about the smoke level, but this reposado is surprisingly gentle on the finish while still having that nice earthy agave taste. The 750ml bottle made for a great gift to a friend who's new to mezcal.
