The dark purple fruit hits you right away on the nose, and the vanilla comes through smooth on the finish without being too sweet. For a full-bodied red, it’s surprisingly easy to sip on its own, though it’d hold up fine with food too. I’ve already bought a second bottle.

Poured a glass with dinner and the dark purple fruit really comes through, with a smooth vanilla finish that lingers nicely. Surprisingly bold for the price point, with plenty of body to stand up to grilled meats or a hearty stew.

Opened this after a long week and the first sip hit that plump dark fruit note right away, with the vanilla softening it nicely. It's full-bodied but not heavy, and the organic angle made me feel a little better about the second glass.
