K Vintners Milbrandt Syrah 2020

Pouring a glass tonight, I was struck by how the black raspberry and plum just explode out of the glass—it’s incredibly dark and juicy. The bottle age has mellowed everything into this perfect, layered finish that’s worth every penny of the 95 points.

That sage and wet earth note really sets this apart from other Syrahs I've had recently, adding a savory complexity to all the dark fruit. It's drinking beautifully right now and has that perfect bottle age the description promises. I'm already planning to grab another bottle before it's gone.
