Sebastian L. ★★★★★

The 11oz bottle is perfect for a slow sipper—this barrel-aged strong brown ale has that rich, slightly sweet Scottish character that just keeps unfolding as it warms. I've been cellaring a few and the depth is only getting better.

Lucy L. ★★★★★

Poured one of these on a cold night and the barrel aging really comes through, lots of dark fruit and a warm malt finish. At 11oz it's a small pour, but for something this strong that's honestly the right amount.

Thomas U. ★★★★★

I usually avoid strong brown ales because they get too sweet, but this one stays rich and malty without going syrupy. The barrel aging comes through in a nice oak finish that lingers just long enough.
