Alma Tepec Pasilla Mixe 750ml

I was a bit nervous it'd be too harsh, but the smoke is mellow and the earthy agave sweetness balances the spice beautifully. The finish lingers warm and smooth, no burn. Sipped it neat over a quiet evening and it never felt heavy.

The spice comes through just right on the finish, warm without being harsh, and the smoky depth lingers longer than I expected. It’s a sipper for sure, but I’ve also used it to elevate a simple margarita and it worked beautifully.

The smoky, earthy notes from the pasilla mixe agave hit exactly right, with a subtle spice that lingers beautifully. Poured a small glass after dinner and was surprised by how smooth the finish is, not harsh at all. Really glad I took a chance on this mezcal.
