Buzzard's Roost Barrel Strength 750ml

The first sip hit me with that rich caramel sweetness, but the espresso-like depth really came through on the finish—smooth for a barrel strength at 120 proof. I was surprised it didn't need water to open up.

Poured a glass neat and the dark cherry hit right away, balanced by that caramel sweetness. The uncut barrel strength gives it a nice warmth without needing water — glad I grabbed a bottle.

That toasted oak re-barrel really shows—the dark cherry and caramel come through bold, but the espresso note keeps it from getting too sweet. I’m a fan of how the barrel strength makes it sip warm and slow, no water needed.
