The cassis and ripe cranberries really come through on the nose, and the licorice note adds an interesting twist on the palate. It’s smooth enough to enjoy on its own but pairs beautifully with a grilled steak.

I found the black pepper note balanced the dark fruit nicely without overpowering it, and the finish lingered longer than I expected for the price. Pairs beautifully with a simple grilled steak dinner.
