Opened this after letting it breathe for an hour, and the structure really shows—it's got a firm tannin backbone but stays smooth. Perfect for a slow evening with some aged cheese.

I opened this after a year of cellaring and the structure has really smoothed out—still has that firm grip but now it's elegant. The dark fruit and earthy notes make it perfect with a slow-cooked ragu.

The tannins are definitely bold, so I'd let it breathe an hour before drinking. Really nice structure for the price, though I found it needed a hearty meal to balance it out.
