The nose alone is worth it—jasmine and honeysuckle hit you right away, and the port and walnut notes on the palate make it feel much pricier than it is. That smooth finish lingers just long enough to make the second pour inevitable.

I poured a glass expecting the typical cognac heat, but the finish was surprisingly smooth and lingered with apricot and walnut notes. The jasmine and honeysuckle aromas really come through, making it feel more refined than my usual pick.

That deep amber color is even richer in person, and the way the oak and walnut flavors come through on the finish makes it incredibly smooth. A perfect after-dinner pour.
