Mad River Burnt Rock Bourbon 750ml

Poured this over a big ice cube and the smoky maple hit right away, with citrus coming through nicely on the finish. The 92-proof is smooth enough to sip neat but still has that bold rye kick I was looking for.

That long, chewy finish really sets this apart from other whiskeys I've tried—it hangs around nicely without getting harsh. The smoky maple and caramel come through balanced, not too sweet. A solid pour for the price.

The maple and citrus notes come through beautifully, and that long, chewy finish makes it a perfect sipper. Already on my second bottle.
