I picked up a bottle on a whim and was pleasantly surprised by the deep cherry notes. It's not too heavy, making it a perfect weeknight red that still feels special. The black forest cake finish is a nice touch without being sweet.

I served this with a rich chocolate dessert and the black forest cake notes really came through beautifully. The dry finish balanced the sweetness perfectly without being cloying. Already planning to order another case.
