Old Forester 1897 750ml

Opened this expecting a typical bourbon but the nose alone tells you it's something special—rich caramel and oak without being overwhelming. The mouthfeel is surprisingly smooth for the proof, with a long, warm finish that makes it dangerously easy to sip neat.

The bottle in bond certification gives this bourbon a rich, full flavor that really stands out. The palate is smooth with just the right amount of warmth.

Nose on this is fantastic, exactly the rich caramel and oak I was hoping for. The bottled in bond proof gives it a nice warmth without being harsh, really smooth sipping neat.
