ヴィーニャ・マードレ・ペコリーノ

I needed a white that could stand up to a feta-heavy salad without getting lost, and this Pecorino cut right through it. The medium-plus body gave it enough weight to feel substantial, but that bright acidity kept every sip refreshing.

I was skeptical about a white with this much body but the balance of ripe fruit and zippy acidity is spot on. It handled a rich creamy pasta sauce without getting lost, which is exactly what I needed.

The high acid cuts through a creamy pasta dish like a knife, yet the ripe fruit keeps it from feeling sharp. The medium-plus body makes it feel more substantial than most whites I’ve tried.
