This Tavel has real structure for a rosé, with enough body to stand up to grilled lamb without getting lost. The color is darker than most Provencal pinks I’ve tried, and the finish lingers nicely. Exactly what I was hoping for after reading about the fuller-bodied style.

I’ve always preferred rosés with some structure, and this one delivers that bold, full body perfectly. The finish lingers just long enough to make you want another sip—it’s clearly a standout from the Tavel region.

This is the kind of rose that actually stands up to a steak, not just a salad—the body is so full it drinks like a light red. It’s easily the most substantial French rose I’ve had, and it held its own from the first sip to the last pour.
