The bright acidity cuts through the fat of a grilled ribeye beautifully, while the tannins stay soft enough to sip on its own. Will definitely be buying another bottle for next steak night.

Opened this with a ribeye and the tannins just melted into the fat—soft and dark, but that bright acid on the finish kept every bite clean. It's brooding in the glass but surprisingly nimble, exactly what I want with a heavy steak.

The bright acidity really keeps this from feeling heavy, even though it’s so deep and dark. I opened it with a ribeye and the tannins melted right into the fat, which is exactly what I wanted. It’s my new default for any red meat night.
