Severo Plata 750ml

I was skeptical about a tequila aged in stainless steel, but the creamy texture and subtle oat notes absolutely won me over. The bottle itself is almost too pretty to throw away.

That bottle is a gorgeous piece of art on my bar, and the tequila inside is even better. The creamy texture and those delicate floral notes make it dangerously smooth for sipping.

The six months in stainless steel really does make this tequila noticeably smooth and creamy, with a subtle floral note that sets it apart from others in this price range. I found the citrus and oat flavors balanced nicely, though I wish the bottle had a pour spout to better control servings.
