Elk Cove Pinot Blanc Estate

Opened this on a warm evening and the white peach flavors hit perfectly — crisp and clean with just enough minerality to keep it interesting. The lighter body makes it dangerously easy to drink, paired great with a simple salad. Already thinking about grabbing another bottle for next weekend.

I was pleasantly surprised by how the tropical fruit notes balanced with the crisp minerality—it made this wine feel more complex than your typical Pinot Blanc. The finish was clean and lingering, perfect for a light dinner pairing.

The tropical fruit notes really come through on the palate, and the finish has that subtle minerality the description promises. I do wish it had a touch more body to it, but for a lighter Pinot Blanc it pairs beautifully with a simple grilled chicken dish.
