Sean Minor Pinot Noir

Mid-palate is where this one shines for me — that blackberry and dark cherry combo stays bold without getting heavy. Opened a bottle with pasta night and it held up nicely from first glass to last. Earthy finish keeps it interesting.

The cocoa powder notes on the nose really surprised me — it’s a nice twist for a pinot noir. Pairs well with a simple pasta dish, and the plum and violet aromas make it feel a bit more special than your average weeknight red.

Opened this with dinner last night and the ripe plum and violet aromas hit right away. The dark cherry and blackberry flavors carried through smoothly, and it finished with just enough earthy depth. Definitely a solid mid-week pour that overdelivers for the price.
