I’ve been sipping this neat after dinner and the cinnamon really comes through on the finish, smoothing out the bitterness in a way I didn’t expect. It’s that middle weight that makes it easy to pour another glass without feeling like you’ve had a heavy digestif.

The lemon zest and cinnamon come through right away, and it’s light enough to sip without feeling heavy after dinner. Only gripe is I wish the cardamom lingered a bit longer on the finish, but the twist of lemon really helps wake it up.

The lemon zest on the nose is what sold me, and neat over a big rock it stays smooth without getting syrupy sweet. Only gripe is the finish fades a little quicker than I'd like for the price, but it's become my default after-dinner pour.
