Giffard Wild Elderflower 750ml

I usually reach for elderflower syrup in cocktails, but this 20% ABV liqueur adds a much cleaner floral kick without being syrupy sweet. The lychee and yellow plum notes come through subtly, making it perfect for a simple spritz.

The honeyed floral notes really come through without being syrupy, and that lychee hint on the nose is lovely. I’ve been mixing it with sparkling water and a squeeze of lime for a quick summer drink, and a little goes a long way at 20% ABV.

The lychee and yellow plum aromas come through beautifully when I mix it into a gin and tonic, and the 20% ABV keeps it light enough for a long afternoon. I’ve already gone through half the bottle in two weeks, it’s that easy to reach for.
