We opened this with a roast chicken last night and the cedar and spice notes really came through nicely on the finish. The fruit is bold but not jammy, exactly what I want from a Cab Franc.

That nose is exactly as advertised—blackberry and cassis jump right out, with a cedar-and-mineral backbone that keeps it interesting. Poured a glass for myself after dinner and ended up finishing half the bottle; it’s dangerously smooth.

Opened this with dinner guests last night and everyone commented on how smooth it was. The plum and cassis flavors really came through beautifully without being too jammy.
