I was pleasantly surprised by how well the subtle floral notes carried through to the finish, balancing the full body of this Bordeaux blend without being overpowering.

Pouring a glass of this, the deep ruby color caught my eye, and the subtle floral notes at the start gave way to a lovely, smooth finish. It paired beautifully with our roast lamb dinner and was a real treat for a weeknight. Only wish I'd bought an extra bottle to cellar.

Opened it last Friday with a simple roast chicken, and the deep ruby color alone set the mood. The floral notes on the nose carried through to a surprisingly smooth, fruit-forward finish that made the bottle disappear way too fast.
