Courvoisier VSOP 750ml

Sipped it neat last night and that jasmine note really does sneak in after the initial stone fruit — smoother than I expected for the price. Oak and floral are balanced perfectly, no harsh burn at all.

Mixed it with ginger ale for a simple highball and the floral notes still shone through beautifully, which surprised me. The finish is long and warm without that harsh burn you sometimes get.

Poured it neat after dinner and the stone fruit notes came through right away, softening into that floral edge without any harsh burn. It’s smooth enough to sip slowly, but I can see it holding up well in a cocktail too. Exactly what I wanted in a cognac for this price.
