I was surprised by how smooth this Dolcetto actually is for the price, and that bay leaf note gives it an elegant twist. Perfect with a simple pasta dinner.

That bitter cherry note really comes through on the finish, and the bay leaf gives it an earthy complexity that kept me reaching for another glass. Smooth and dry, it paired beautifully with a simple pasta dish and didn't overpower anything.

Opened this with dinner last night and the bay leaf note is what got me—it’s subtle but gives the wine a nice herbal lift. Pairs great with pasta, and the smooth finish made the bottle disappear way too fast.
