Opened this on a whim and the black pepper kick with the dark fruit is exactly what I was hoping for. It's smooth enough to drink on its own but has enough structure to stand up to a hearty stew.

The soft tannins make this a really approachable Syrah — I could actually enjoy a glass without food and it didn't feel too heavy. Perfect for a cozy evening.
