I was worried it might be too sweet like other amarettos, but the longer aging gives it a much smoother finish that's not cloying at all. The hint of apricot pit really comes through and makes it more interesting.

The blend of almonds and apricot pits really does make a difference—this has a depth that’s missing from the usual syrupy amarettos. Poured it over ice and the smooth finish was just perfect for a quiet evening.

I’ve tried a lot of amarettos and this one’s the first where I actually taste the apricot pits coming through, not just sugar. The almond and apricot mix makes it feel way more complex, and it goes down so smooth I keep sipping it neat.
