I've been sipping this after dinner and the licorice and nut notes really come through beautifully. The extra aging in Limousin oak gives it a smoothness that justifies the premium price.

Opened this for a quiet nightcap and the candied fruit note hit me right away, with licorice lingering nicely on the finish. It’s smoother than most XOs I’ve tried, and the extra years in Limousin oak clearly do their job.

The nose alone is worth the price—licorice and candied fruit coming off so rich, you can smell the Limousin oak before the first sip. It's smooth and layered, with those nuts lingering on the finish in a way that makes you slow down and savor every drop.
