The spice from the pepper-crusted dishes I tried it with didn’t fight the wine at all—those soft tannins just smoothed everything out. The berry compote depth is seriously rich, and for a wine this powerful, it finishes way more gracefully than I expected.

This Zinfandel's mocha and berry compote notes are incredible, and the fact that it comes from 120 year old vines really shows in the depth of flavor. It paired perfectly with my spicy kung pao chicken, just as the description promised. I'm already planning to grab another bottle.

The old-vine intensity really comes through—this is a dense, jammy Zin that handled my spicy Thai curry perfectly. Only wish the bottle had a bit more info on the label about the vineyard's history.
