This Sangiovese has a really nice balance—the dark fruit aromas give way to a silky mouthfeel that makes it easy to drink on its own. Paired it with pasta last night and the strawberry notes came through perfectly.

The vanilla and dark fruit aromas hit right after pouring, and the silky tannins made it dangerously easy to finish the bottle with dinner. For the price, it’s a solid Tuscan table wine I’ll be ordering again.

The vanilla note really comes through on the nose, and it carries into that dark fruit finish nicely. It's a solid everyday Tuscan red, though I'd have liked a touch more acidity to cut through a heavy pasta dish.
