The fact that it’s made from pure cane juice instead of molasses really comes through in the taste—cleaner and less syrupy than most rums I’ve tried. Poured it over ice after dinner and the golden color and smooth kick made it worth every penny.

The finish lingers with a warm, honeyed note that makes it dangerously easy to sip neat. Even over ice, the smoothness from that pure cane juice base really comes through—no harsh bite at all.

It’s a solid golden rum that works well both neat and in a simple cocktail, and the fact it’s made from pure cane juice instead of molasses gives it a cleaner, slightly grassy note I didn’t expect. My only gripe is the bottle feels a bit plain for the price, but the taste makes up for that.
