Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva 750ml

Poured a glass next to my usual bourbon, and the difference in smoothness was immediately obvious. The body is surprisingly rich without being syrupy, and it's perfect for sipping neat after dinner.

The twelve-year aging really comes through in how smooth it is, even sipped neat over a single ice cube. I've used it as a base for old fashioneds, but honestly it's wasted anywhere but a glass by itself.

The vanilla and caramel notes hit right away on the nose, and the finish is surprisingly smooth for a twelve-year aged rum. Even my friend who usually only drinks whiskey asked for a second pour.
