Laphroaig Select 750ml

The peat smoke hits you right away but then softens into that sweet vanilla and citrus from the cask blending—really well balanced for an Islay. Perfect for sipping neat on a cool evening.

The peat smoke hits right away but the vanilla and citrus smooth it out enough that even my wife, who usually hates smoky whisky, asked for another sip. The cask blending really shows in how balanced it is from first pour to last.

This is my new go-to for introducing friends to Islay malts—the blend of different casks really softens the peat without losing that signature smoky character. The hint of citrus cuts through nicely on the finish.
