Mixed it into my espresso and the licorice-anise sweetness came through without being cloying. The herbal notes are subtle but definitely there, and it's dangerously easy to sip straight over ice.

The licorice and elder bush combo gives this a sweetness that doesn't feel artificial, and the anise comes through clean instead of overpowering. I've been sipping it neat after dinner and it's become my go-to nightcap.
