The Kraken Gold Spiced Rum 750ml

The toffee and allspice come through really nicely, and that vanilla makes it dangerously easy to sip straight. I've already gone through half the bottle just adding a splash to my evening coffee.

This one’s smoother than most spiced rums I’ve tried, and the vanilla comes through without being syrupy. I’ve been pouring it over ice after dinner, and the allspice and clove warm it up just right.

The warmth from the clove and vanilla notes is nice for mixing with cola, though I wish the rum had a bit more body to stand out on its own. Still, a solid everyday sipper at this price point.
