400 Conejos Joven Mezcal 750 ml

I was expecting something harsh, but the pit-roasting gives this mezcal a deep, sweet cooked agave flavor that’s surprisingly easy to sip neat.

The smoothness really caught me off guard—this goes down way too easily for 40% ABV. It has that rich, roasted agave sweetness without being syrupy, and the stone-ground texture gives it a nice rustic finish.

I love how the sweet cooked agave comes through without being cloying—perfect for sipping neat or in a simple cocktail. The stone-grinding really adds a distinct earthy depth that I haven't found in other mezcals.
