Opened this with a big, rare ribeye and it was a perfect match. The smoky edge balanced the fruit beautifully, and even after an hour in the glass it kept evolving. Definitely the finest Chianti I've picked up in this price range.

That balsamic note really comes through on the finish, and the smoky hint makes it perfect for a cozy evening with aged Pecorino. I’ve had plenty of Chiantis that fade fast, but this one held its berry depth right to the last glass.
