Tombacco Aglianico 750Ml

I was surprised by how dense the black fruit notes are—it’s not thin at all. Pairs perfectly with a hearty pasta dish.

The warmth of those baking spices really comes through on the finish, and it’s got enough structure to stand up to a hearty pasta dish without feeling heavy. I opened it last night and the dense black fruit was exactly what I wanted from a southern Italian red.

That firm palate and dense black fruit make this a great food wine—it paired perfectly with my braised short ribs. The finish lingers with a nice warmth.
