Opened this after dinner with some hard cheese and the raspberry and black cherry just burst out of the glass, so smooth and juicy it barely needed food. That hint of Mediterranean herbs on the finish makes it feel way more expensive than it is. Already looking at a second bottle.

The licorice note really comes through on the finish, which I didn't expect from a Sicilian red. That 60/40 Nero d'Avola and Frappato blend gives it such a smooth, juicy mouthfeel with the raspberry shining through. Perfect sipper for a cozy night in.

Opened this with some grilled lamb and the concentrated raspberry and black cherry really stood out. The blend of Nero d'Avola and Frappato makes it smoother than most Italian reds I've had.
