Category: Other Italian

A giant wine from Puglia made from 50/50 Montepulciano and Negro Amaro, which were allowed to dry out a bit on the vine to further concentrate flavor and intensity.  Smooth, ripe, luxurious.  Great with sauced meats, BBQ, steaks and the like.

William ★★★★★

Opened this last night with dinner and the mouthfeel is just unbelievable — so smooth and velvety, almost like liquid silk. The Negro Amaro really shines through with that deep, ripe fruit character without any harsh tannins. Definitely going to grab another bottle for the holidays.

Christopher N. ★★★★★

The slight drying on the vine really gives it that extra punch of ripe fruit without any harsh edges—super smooth and luxurious, just as described. I opened a bottle with pasta and it was a perfect match.

Michael G. ★★★★★

Finally, a wine that delivers on that "ripe and luxurious" promise — the dried-on-vine concentration makes it incredibly smooth without being heavy. Opened a bottle with pasta and it was gone before the meal was over. This one's a keeper.
