That sweet violet note hit me right away, and it paired beautifully with dark chocolate. The tobacco finish lingers just long enough to make you want another sip. Exactly what I was hoping for in a Brunello.

Opened this with a slow braised lamb ragu and the sweet violet notes paired perfectly with the sauce. The tobacco and chocolate flavors really deepen on the finish, making it feel much more complex than most Sangioveses I've tried. Already planning to buy another bottle for next month's dinner party

Picked up a bottle for a special dinner, and the chocolate and tobacco notes really stood out after it opened up for an hour. It’s a bit pricey for everyday drinking, but the complexity makes it worth it for a splurge. I’d buy it again for a nice occasion.
