Macallan 12yr Sherry Oak Cask 750ml

I wasn’t sure what to expect from a 12-year sherry cask, but the dried fruit and vanilla notes are surprisingly rich without being too sweet.

The warm spice notes are really well balanced with the vanilla, not overpowering at all. I've been sipping it neat and the finish lingers just right.

The dried fruit hit is exactly what you’d hope for from a sherry cask, and the vanilla comes through smooth on the finish. I’ve had pricier bottles that don’t balance the warmth this well.
