That peppery rye kick comes through just as promised, making it perfect for a bold old fashioned. The oak from the new charred barrels balances it nicely, and for 2.5 years it's surprisingly smooth.

The 2.5 years in charred oak gives this a nice smoothness that balances the rye's pepper. I was expecting a hotter finish, but it's surprisingly mellow for a high-rye mash bill.
